Dianchi LakeSituated about 2km southwest of Kunming, Dianchi
Lake is a highland limestone fault lake, and one of the major
scenic areas in China, covering an area of about 300km2 . The
elevation of its water surface is over 1800 metres above se level
and the average water depth is 5.5 metres. There are over 20 rivers
emptying into the lake . The vast misty Dianchi Lake enjoys the
fame of " A Pearl on the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau " Around
the lake , there exist a great number of famous mountains and
scenic sites. |
International Horti-Expo GardenSituated
in the northern suburbs of Kunming, it occupies an area of 218
hectares. The garden is the place where the 99'International Horticulture
Exposition was held. The exposition fully reflects the Chinese
characteristics, demonstrating the first class of the world's
horticulture standard. |
