An initial three-dimensional transportation network has been set up in Huangshan Mountain area. Apart from the railway and highway trunk lines leading to the major large and middle-sized cities in Anhui and its adjacent provinces, Hefei-Huangshan top-grade highway and Hefei-Wuhu express way have been put into service. And the construction of Hefei Hangzhou express way and Wuhu Yangtze River Bridge has been finished and they are now open to traffic. Thanks to their successful completion, and with the addition of newly operated 45/46 bi-directional Fuzhou-Beijing train (with a stopover at Huangshan), 219/220 bi-directional Huangshan-Shanghai train and the special Huangshan-Nanjing holiday sleeper train, as well as the original railway runs, the land ransportation to Huangshan Mountain has been greatly improved.
Being the only port for air flight in Huangshan area, Huangshan Airport operates more than 20 air routes, including Beijing, Shanghai, Amoy, Hefei, Qingdao, Guangzhou, Van, Wuhan, Shenzhen, Guilin, Kunming, and Fuzhou, totaling 70 flights. Moreover, every week there is a regular chartered airplane between Huangshan and Hongkong. With the additional Tunxi-Huangshan high way, Huangshan Yungu Cable Way, Yuping Cable Way and Taiping Cable Way, the inner and outer transportation to access Huangshan Mountain is very convenient |
